Only few wines are capable of aging well. Only the best wines from valuable vineyards have a high aging potential.

In Piedmont the small single vineyards of the best producer of Barolo and Barbaresco are planted with Nebbiolo. The wine region around the villages of Barolo, La Morra, Neive and Barbaresco create classical long-living red wines.
